I am currently in my fourth year of forestry engineering and during my time at the university I have witnessed many shortcomings. First of all, the forestry faculty on campus has only a small pavilion for classes and because of this situation it always depends on the agronomy buildings. In addition, all the arrangements and problems with supplies must wait for their solved with your permissionit, is tedious. Another problem is that the laboratories we have are in very bad conditions which limits their use, even dangerous at times. They should have constant maintenance. There are some subjects that take up a lot of time and are not as relevant as other subjects, so the time should be distributed in a better way in the different subjects. Also within the curriculum there are many subjects in which the contents are repetitive and the same every year, only the name changes. Time travel to the future 👩‍👧💜

My dream has always been to travel around the world, live in different places and get to know as much as I can. Thinking that I would be far away for a long time I would go back to where my mom is, she has always wanted to go back to her homeland in Angol in the Araucanía region. In 20 years I would like her to be in that place living her old age, calm and happy, as she expected and as she has told us her children. She has been away from that place for a long time, she came very young to Santiago because it was the opportunity she had at that time. The truth is that I would like very much to stay there and wherever she is, because I love her very much and I would like to spend every moment with her, but I also think that I have to live my life and that maybe that place is not the one I long for. My future job 🎭🌱🌳

I would like to work in a theater, I have always loved acting. I imagine it would be a job with a lot of movement, effort, emotions and very beautiful. For this job you have to have a lot of passion, enthusiasm and personality. But living as an artist in Chile is difficult, the salaries are very precarious and it is not highly valued. The truth is that I would like to study theater because it is one of my passions, but outside the country.  I am currently studying something far away from theater, I studied forestry engineering at the University of Chile. I studied this career because I like to be in nature and to get to know it better, also another of my ideal jobs would be to do environmental education so that children can develop in contact with nature, I find that this is a very important factor to be able to protect it. My best holiday

My best holiday until the moment was in August 2021 in the vacation of winter in the Araucanía, Chile. I went there with my best friend and my boyfriend. We went to Angol for four days, five in Pucón and one day in Temuco. We toured different hills, beaches and forests. In Angol we visit the "Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta" where can be seen much Araucarias is beautiful. The other days in Pucón we climbed the "Volcán Villarrica" when got down, we went to a wooden bathtub of hot water. We went to "Los Ojos del Caburga", to the "Playa negra" in Caburga and to "playa grande" of Pucón. We also went the "Santuario el Cañi" but was closed for bad weather. Finally, in Temuco we toured the city and visited to a friend. In all these places we eaten different foods of the area, but we usually cooked because didn't have much money. Sweden- Aurora borealis

¡Hi classmates and teacher! Welcome to my first post. Today I will talk to you about a country that I would very much like to visit. I would like to visit Sweden specifically Swedish Lapland because there you can see the northern lights and it is a dream for me to be able to appreciate that phenomenon. The truth is that I would like to travel the whole country because they say and what I have seen is that they have very beautiful natural landscapes, if it is possible to study or work I would do it but in the same way I would travel to other countries later. I hope to be able to fulfill the dream of seeing the northern lights because since I was little when I saw them in the movie brother bear I was amazed. Searching for equality 😓

When I decided to study I always thought of having a focus that could bring knowledge to others, specifically to children, and also something related to being able to contribute to science in these changing times. My career can give the world tools both to enjoy nature and to be able to conserve it, to give a friendlier approach to that connection between nature and human beings. I feel that I am still on the path of knowledge and that while I learn one thing, other ideas are already emerging but I know that from my place I can contribute to generate a positive change in society or perhaps only in some. Living in a fair environment is equivalent to being able to access information, social struggles are too important but environmental struggles are closely related. The benefit for the world is to be able to contribute to a better life and to be able to deliver tools to generate a change, besides delivering the hope that something can be done even with climate change and the exploitation...

 The website I like to visit is named inaturalist, I don't visit it daily but when I need to identify some species of flora and fauna I visit it, I had not been able to create a profile but soon I will. I like this site because it provides scientific information that involves the people who use it because it is a social network of citizen science where people can contribute with observations in nature and its location. I would recommend it to people who are interested in contributing to environmental education and science, and also to those who want to learn about flora and fauna, this application is the indicated, so it is very linked to the career because during life you have to collect information about species, handle certain language, names and concepts. One of the things I like is that you can find information from other countries because it is a digital platform for observing global biodiversity, countries like Chile, Bolivia, Perú, Colombia, Mexico and many more.
